Description
Sqi’mukw (giant Pacific octopus) is a strong and protective creature in the Salish Sea. It is wise to be wary of close encounters with large Sqi’mukw. Stories tell of children being taken while playing at the water’s edge, which is why we call them devilfish.
Design was handed painted onto a silkscreen, then hand pulled onto Stonehenge serigraph paper.
